Discover reliability. Wind power for the rest of us.
The Skystream 3.7® will power your business or home using — wind! It’s free, non-polluting, and endless. Join the mission to accelerate the world's transition to sustainable energy.
Designed for homes and small businesses, the Skystream 3.7® converts wind into clean energy you can use. It’s the first compact, user-friendly, plug-and-play wind generator—with controls and an inverter built-in—designed to provide quiet, clean electricity in very low winds.
Skystream can offset a household or small business' total energy needs. And because it operates at a low RPM, Skystream is as quiet as the trees blowing in the wind.

Designed for Useability & Longevity
2.4 kW Power Rating for Versatility
Graceful, yet powerful
With a rated capacity of 2.4 kW, Skystream 3.7 can help offset a household or small business’s total energy needs. Its sleek, distinctive swept-wing blades and elegant form make Skystream an attractive addition to any home. With a guyless tower, Skystream blends in like a neighborhood street lamp. And because it operates at a low RPM, Skystream is as quiet as the trees blowing in the wind.
Homeowner friendly
Skystream 3.7 was designed from the start for homeowners looking for a quiet, convenient, affordable way to protect themselves from ever-increasing electricity costs.
How it works is simple. With no batteries*, Skystream connects directly to your home. When the wind is blowing, your home is powered (in part) by Skystream; when it’s not, your home is seamlessly powered by your utility as usual. During periods of strong winds, Skystream can actually produce excess electricity. Depending on your utility, your meter will spin backward—giving you credit for a later date.
Reduce your electricity bill
Skystream 3.7 is the first all-inclusive small wind turbine specifically designed to help reduce your electric bill. Since everything is built in and there are no significant maintenance costs, once your Skystream is operating and the wind is blowing, you’ll see an immediate reduction in electricity costs.* Some states offer investment incentives in the form of rebates that can lower your startup costs.
*As with all distributed wind energy systems, performance will vary depending on your site and local wind resource.
“I thought we needed to take advantage of the wind. If it’s there, we should capture it and use it. Then you came out with Skystream. It is the perfect solution, the perfect blend of features for the average homeowner. I couldn’t be happier with it.”

-
How much does a residential wind turbine cost?
The cost of a residential wind turbine can vary widely depending on the size and type of system, as well as the location and local regulations. On average, a small residential wind turbine can cost anywhere from $25,000 to $35,000.
-
How much electricity can a residential wind turbine generate?
The amount of electricity a residential wind turbine can generate will depend on a number of factors, including the wind resources in the area, the size and type of the turbine, and the efficiency of the system. A small residential wind turbine can typically generate enough electricity to offset a significant portion of a home's electricity usage, depending on the location and other factors.
-
How tall are residential wind turbines?
The height of a residential wind turbine will depend on the size and type of the system. Small residential wind turbines can range in height from 10 to 50 feet, although larger systems may be taller.
-
How much space do I need for a residential wind turbine?
The space needed for a residential wind turbine will depend on the size and type of the system. Generally, a small residential wind turbine will need a minimum of a half acre, although more space may be needed depending on the specific system and local regulations.
